start out

...the name. i had to make a blog, but in order to do that, i had to think of one of them urls. i tried the normal ones i would have used: zwal, israel, so on... i even thought of the yummy cliches that we all love, my favorite one being "finding the church." but i couldn't bring myself to think about a name like that anymore. 

i'm spontaneous, but, i'm not. i know, get that...

so when i think of a cool name, i hesitate as i argue with myself saying, "just use it."

but i actually have a peace and reason for this one. 

i wonder why i want to travel and what i will actually be doing in the places that i go.

sightseeing? studying? experiencing? 

they may all be true, but i think the real reason is to show jesus in a real way to those in other places. to those who may have never even heard his name spoken...

jesus... 

love...

to show others jesus through acts of love.

i was on a website for translating to find out what my itunes was telling me (my itunes is in german, by choice). i switched to russian, and checked a couple words: israel, God, God is good...

then, it made sense. the whole goal of my life is to love, to travel and to love those around me. 

i'm sure it could and does mean much deeper theological and metaphorical things.....    but...  

the whole point of this blog is to get started, to take a step of faith, to reach for my Father's hand. 

i am blessed to know there are people who will be going through this with me. thank you for your prayers, and all of your support.
